Welcome to the VTEA Web site!
The VTEA offers educational programs and instructional resources that assist teachers in providing
high quality classroom and laboratory experiences for students in grades K-12. As result of such
experiences student will develop an understanding about the nature of technology and how it involves
the generation of knowledge and processes to develop systems that solve problems and extend human
capabilities.

2010 VTEA Summer Conference
The 2010 Technology Education Summer Conference and VTEA Annual Recognition Awards and Business Meeting
will be held on August 4-6 at the Holiday Inn Tanglewood, Roanoke, Virginia. The conference will include technology
teachers from across the Commonwealth. Click on this link for
