The Virginia Technology Education Association’s (VTEA) annual conference is open to all
teachers interested in Technology Education and to those individuals and businesses
interested in advancing the profession of teaching Technology Education. The 2008 conference
will be hosted by Virginia Beach City Public Schools. The main conference hotel will be the
Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center, Virginia Beach.
The conference will provide you with an excellent opportunity to meet and network with
technology educators, see the newest equipment, review the most recent Technology Education
textbooks, and participate as a leader in Technology Education. You may earn recertification
points to renew your teaching license, attend high quality professional development courses
focused on Technology, Innovation, Design, and Engineering, and may enroll in a college-credit
class. The annual conference is the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge, learn new
teaching strategies, establish contacts with technology educators throughout the Commonwealth
of Virginia, and gear up for the coming school year!
Transportation will be provided between the conference hotel and the various workshop locations.
Be sure to follow workshop and transportation schedules to ensure that you arrive at your
workshops on time.
Please join the VTEA, sign up for the conference and encourage other teachers teachers to take
